Connecting an OANDA account

OANDA doesn't have a one-click connection yet, but its Transaction History export brings across your fills, symbols, and realized P&L in one go. Five steps:

  1. 1
    Log into the OANDA HUB

Go to hub.oanda.com (or your region's OANDA trading site) and sign in to the account you trade with.

  2. 2
    Open Transaction History

From the account menu, go to History (sometimes listed under Statements). This is your full record of fills, not just open positions.

  3. 3
    Set the date range

Pick a range that covers the trades you want in your journal. The widest range OANDA allows is usually easiest for a first import.

  4. 4
    Export to CSV

Look for an "Export" or "Download CSV" button on the Transaction History page and save the file.

  5. 5
    Import it into TradePanel

Head back to Import, drop the file in, and the OANDA format is detected automatically. You'll get a preview before anything is saved.

Menu names vary a little by region and account type. If the option isn't where this guide says, look for anything labeled "Statements" or "Transactions" in your account settings. The file you want lists individual buy/sell fills, not just a balance summary. If your import doesn't look right once it's in TradePanel, send the format over and it can be adjusted.
